Was 2005 als experimentelles Nebenprojekt des unschlagbaren Gitarren-Schlagzeug Teams bestehend aus den musikalischen Quacksalbern Bert Ling (Doktor X/DM Bob & The Deficits)  und Czerno Krainer (Doktor X/ Painted Air) begann, entwickelte sich weiter, als die beiden in der Hotelbar der „Kogge“ auf St.Pauli mit Holy Holly Ihre Bassistin fanden.

Rock´n´Roll Hotel war geboren!

Nach Ihren ersten Auftritten im Hamburger Musik-Milieu, auf Vernissagen und im Radio wird Ihr Style von Fans gerne als „zwischen Stooges und Velvet Underground“ beschrieben.

2006 erscheint die erste 7inch „Only The Brave“ mit Bassist El Baron in Kleinstauflage auf Starpark Records und ist sofort vergriffen.

Begleitend zum „Bar-B-Q“-Video der Band gibt es 2008 die gleichnamige Single.

Tatsächlich schöpft die Band aus einem riesigen Fundus eigener Songs, welche an Rock´n´Roll-Sixties-Garage und den Punk der frühen 70er erinnern. (Kaputte Feedbacks sind dabei durchaus gewollt)

Mehrere Umbesetzungen liessen D.Koppert am Bass nachfolgen, und brachten Burned Wesseling (Sektrevolver/München) zur zweiten Gitarre.

What a fuckin´ JOKE if you don´t show up when ROCK´N´ ROLL HOTEL play live in yo.. town in whatever kind of venue. Anyone who wants to listen to the real crap knows what I´m bellyachin´ about: snoop to the soundfiles!!! It´s no JOKE. Not even a farce. A few minutes (about 30 + some lil´ xtra) of live rock´n´roll (y´all who saw them once know what I´m talkin´ ´bout) and ..ugh, I guess you shouldn´t really expect mo´ out of ROCK´N´ROLL HOTEL. Really, why would you think this will be any different from typical GARAGE´n´ROLL? Well, ´cause the GOLDEN ARM BOYS, the two real Misters of Underground Garage, Czerno Byell + Dr. B. Ling, are involved in this lil´ daddy, of course. They are, after all, the new SAVIOURS of ROCK´n´ROLL, aren´t they? Anything they touch turns into pure GOLD, right? Czerno is called the master-of-pure garage´n´roll-desaster, the way his guitar is yellin´ ´n screamin´ …in the real baaaad way! And Mr. Ling is beatin´ the traps that makes you sweat – oh man, he IS in the pocket!!! And we have to mention Mr. Boom-Bass-Dick Koppert, well, he´s a hipshakin´ muthafukin´ Rock´n´Roll-MONSTER, the way he kicks everybodys ass playin´ the bass!!! Howlin´, Dancin´, and Bone Bass Stompin´! And recently B.M. Wesseling entered the ROCK´N´ROLL HOTEL – universe, fled directly from germanys bible belt. This cool guy is well known as a chords-strumming, killer-chopppin´ & fret buzzin´ second hand guitarist. THE MAN is really throwing down hot licks!!!

Harumph, ROCK´N´ROLL HOTEL actually give you a GARAGE´n´ROLL-live show, and not interrupt everything with cheesy talkin´ moments and tons of dull and boring sounds. This a fuckin´ wake up call!!! Whoever the hell thinks this thing is goin´ to be actually a good prog concept is goddam right!!! Love!
